Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Civil Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in construction and project execution within the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and structural works, with steel structure experience considered a significant advantage. The candidate must be capable of managing technical documentation, drawings, site activities, and ensuring compliance with all relevant Dubai authorities and certification requirements (DM, Trakhees, DDA, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and coordinate all civil and structural works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.

- Prepare, review, and submit civil-related documents, shop drawings, and material submittals for consultant and client approval.

- Liaise with consultants, clients, and local authorities for necessary permits, inspections, and approvals.

- Handle all relevant Dubai authority certifications such as:

1. Dubai Municipality (DM) Engineer Registration / G+1 or higher License

2. Dubai Development Authority (DDA)

3. Trakhees / Nakheel / Emaar / Civil Defense coordination as applicable

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure progress and quality align with project timelines and safety standards.

- Coordinate with MEP and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution and avoid clashes.

- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams and subcontractors.

- Assist in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and progress reporting.

- Ensure compliance with company QA/QC and HSE policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).

- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in construction or electromechanical contracting.

- Proven knowledge of steel structure works (design review, detailing, or installation supervision).

- Valid Dubai Municipality (DM) Engineer Certificate or eligibility to obtain one.

- Familiarity with UAE authority submission procedures (DM, DDA, Trakhees, etc.).

- Strong technical understanding of civil and structural drawings and site execution.

- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant civil/structural design software.

- Excellent communication and coordination skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

- UAE Driving License

- Experience in fit-out, renovation, or mall projects.

- Knowledge of local codes and standards (UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, DM Building Regulations).

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
