Job Description

:

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with a strong background in building construction to join our contracting company in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of proven experience managing mid to large-scale building projects, including 7 years in the UAE, from initial planning to final handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the execution of construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract specifications. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities to ensure smooth communication and project alignment. Take charge of site operations, monitor work progress, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules; identify and resolve discrepancies or technical issues. Prepare and manage project timelines, budgets, progress reports, and procurement plans. Oversee and guide the site team, ensuring high standards of workmanship and effective resource utilization.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage) Minimum of 7 years of experience in the UAE, specifically in

building construction

(residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects) Strong knowledge of Dubai building codes, regulations, and authority approval processes Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project

With DCD Registered Engineer, Trakhees Accredited Safety Engineer, Trakhees Accredited Project Manager, DM Registered Engineer, Registered Society of Engineers, Registered Engineer in DDA, Registered Engineer in DMCC, Scaffolding Erection, Dismantling & Testing Certificate, Fire Safety Certificate
