Civil Engineer (5 Years UAE Experience Required) - Dubai

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Dubai. If you have a proven track record of at least 5 years of hands-on experience exclusively within the United Arab Emirates and have successfully delivered multiple construction projects, we want to hear from you.

About the Role:

As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all stages of our construction projects, from initial planning to final handover. You'll work closely with diverse teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, within budget, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Directly supervise all phases of construction project execution to ensure smooth and efficient progress.

Ensure full compliance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and local and international building codes.

Effectively coordinate with all project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities, to ensure seamless operations.

Efficiently manage resources, including materials, equipment, and workforce, to maximize productivity.

Implement and uphold the highest standards of occupational health and safety at all work sites to ensure a secure environment.

Prepare regular technical reports and provide consistent updates on project progress and status.

Identify potential engineering challenges and propose innovative and effective solutions.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Academic Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of practical experience as a Civil Engineer, acquired entirely within the United Arab Emirates.

Project Portfolio: Demonstrated experience in the successful execution of multiple construction projects in the UAE.

Classification: Holder of a G+12 (12-story building execution or above) or Unlimited classification certificate.

Languages: Fluent in English (both spoken and written). Proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills:

Excellent understanding of civil engineering principles and local building codes.

Strong knowledge of quality and occupational safety standards.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Familiarity with design and modeling software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, and Etabs is preferred.

Management and Soft Skills:

Proven ability to manage projects and effectively coordinate teams.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
