Job Description
Job Summary:
A Civil Engineer designs, plans, and oversees construction projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, water supply systems, and other infrastructure. They ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Planning:
- Develop detailed designs using CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit).
- Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations.
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project specifications.
- Project Management:
- Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design plans.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and government agencies.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure projects meet legal, environmental, and safety standards.
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Quality Control & Safety:
- Inspect materials and workmanship for quality assurance.
- Implement safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Problem-Solving:
- Troubleshoot design and construction issues.
- Recommend solutions for engineering challenges.
