Job Description

PFC Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects such as roads, buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure. This role requires strong technical skills, project management experience, and a deep understanding of engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all on-site activities related to civil construction Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and timelines Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution Monitor and enforce safety protocols on site Conduct regular site inspections and prepare daily/weekly progress reports Resolve technical issues and provide guidance to site workers Assist in quantity estimation and materials planning Liaise with project engineers and stakeholders to communicate updates and resolve challenges

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's is a plus) Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it preferred 2 years of experience in civil engineering or a related field Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred Skills (optional)

Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) Advanced proficiency in MS Office and project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project)
