About the Client:
Our client is a prominent construction company in Dubai, specializing in the delivery of diverse infrastructure and building projects. The company is committed to excellence, innovation, and sustainable development, and is seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer to join their team and contribute to the successful execution of their projects.
Job Summary:
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for providing expert civil engineering design, supervision, and project management support for construction projects in Dubai. This individual will leverage their extensive experience to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, extensive experience in the construction industry, and excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Responsibilities:

• Design & Planning:

• Develop and review civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, and road designs.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies.
• Ensure designs comply with local regulations (Dubai Municipality, RTA, etc.) and international standards.
• Prepare and review material submittals and shop drawings.
• Project Execution & Supervision:

• Supervise the construction of civil engineering works on-site.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Conduct quality control inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical) to ensure seamless project integration.
• Manage and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure all works are done according to the project specifications.
• Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare progress reports, as-built drawings, and operation and maintenance manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of all project activities and documentation.
• Ensure all documentation is completed to the required standards.
• Resolve Request for Information (RFI's)
• Communication & Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams in both Arabic and English.
• Present technical information clearly and concisely.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in civil engineering within the construction industry in the UAE.
• Proven experience in the design and supervision of infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations and international standards.
• Proficiency in relevant software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Valid UAE Driving License.
• Valid UAE Society of Engineers membership.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
