The role involves supporting project engineers and site managers to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality delivery of civil works, including structural and finishing activities.

Key Responsibilities (JR):

Site Execution & Supervision:

Supervise day-to-day activities at construction sites including excavation, concrete works, blockworks, waterproofing, and finishing. Ensure all civil works are executed in compliance with drawings, specifications, and project timelines. Monitor subcontractors and manpower to ensure productivity and quality. Report daily site progress and challenges to the project/site engineer. Review and interpret structural and architectural drawings and ensure work is done as per approved shop drawings. Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, site diaries, and material tracking logs. Assist in preparing method statements, bar bending schedules (BBS), and quantity take-offs. Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality (DM), Trakhees, or other local authority regulations. Coordinate with QA/QC team to maintain construction quality as per specifications and standards. Support inspections with consultants and clients. Coordinate with MEP teams, consultants, subcontractors, and site supervisors for smooth workflow and sequence. Attend technical meetings, safety briefings, and resolve site issues efficiently. Ensure all HSE regulations are followed on-site and support safety officer in implementation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering 3 years of civil engineering experience in the UAE, particularly in residential, commercial, or contracting projects. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and standards used in Dubai. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project. Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, or RTA approval processes. Good communication skills.
