Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan construction projects. Design infrastructure structures such as roads, bridges, buildings, and drainage systems. Prepare cost estimates, material specifications, and timelines for projects. Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design and safety standards. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and government officials for project approvals. Perform risk assessments and implement measures to reduce environmental impact. Review and approve project drawings, blueprints, and documentation. Monitor progress and provide technical advice during all phases of construction. Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks. Resolve design and development issues in real-time to avoid delays.
Job Profile
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution. 2-4 years of hands-on experience in construction or infrastructure projects. Strong command of engineering software like AutoCAD, SAP2000, and STAAD Pro. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and local authority requirements. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage site teams efficiently. * Professional Engineering (PE) license is an advantage.
