Position Overview:

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Civil Engineer who enjoys working in a structured, professional office environment. You will support design and planning efforts for a variety of civil engineering projects, including site development, roadway design, utility systems, and municipal infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and modify engineering plans, reports, and technical documentation. Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and simulations using software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, or similar. Collaborate with architects, planners, and other engineers to develop project designs. Assist with permitting processes and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Support project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and documentation tasks. Provide occasional support to field teams through coordination or site visits when needed (minimal travel).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 2-5 years of professional experience (entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds also considered). Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or other civil design software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. EIT certification preferred; PE license a plus.
