Civil Engineer
to take on a key
office-based
role supporting our project administration, authority coordination, and technical documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities
Authority Coordination & Submissions
Prepare and submit documents for authority approvals (DM, DDA, CED, DEWA, DCD, RTA, etc.)
Track status of applications, follow up on rejections/comments, and coordinate resubmissions.
Maintain compliance with latest municipal regulations and codes.
Assist in preparing authority NOCs and coordinating with regulatory bodies.
Engineering Documentation & Drafting
Draft and modify
civil and architectural support drawings
using AutoCAD.
Support in the preparation of
design development and tender packages
.
Review and verify consultant/contractor drawings for technical accuracy.
Coordinate redline markups and revisions for authority and site submissions.
Project Technical Support
Liaise with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to ensure design integration and coordination.
Conduct basic quantity take-offs and prepare preliminary BOQs for internal review.
Review specifications and drawings to ensure project scope alignment.
Prepare technical submittals, method statements, and compliance checklists.
Project Administration & Office Coordination
Organize internal design review meetings and document minutes of meeting (MoMs).
Prepare progress reports and authority submission logs for management tracking.
Update project tracking tools to monitor key submission and approval milestones.
Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure timely documentation flow.
Compliance & Engineering Standards
Assist in reviewing design for code compliance and constructability issues.
Support the development of internal standards, templates, and QA/QC documentation.
Keep updated with revisions in local regulations and share key updates with the team.
Client & Consultant Liaison
Support client presentations with technical inputs, layout options, and compliance summaries.
Attend meetings with clients or authorities to resolve design-related issues and clarify submission matters.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
(Mandatory)
Minimum 2 years' UAE experience
in a consultancy environment (Required)
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
, MS Office (Excel, Word), and document control systems
Experience handling
DM, DDA, CED, DEWA, DCD, and RTA portals
Knowledge of local codes, authority requirements, and submission workflows
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
Currently based in Dubai
and available to join immediately
