Job Description

Job Purpose:

To plan, design, supervise, and execute infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage, sewerage, water supply networks, and related civil works, ensuring compliance with technical standards, project specifications, timelines, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Design:

Review and interpret infrastructure designs, drawings, and specifications. Coordinate with design consultants to ensure constructability of designs. Provide technical input during the planning and execution phases of infrastructure projects.

Site Supervision & Execution:

Supervise construction activities for infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, and civil works. Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and QHSE standards. Conduct daily inspections and prepare reports on progress and quality.

Coordination & Communication:

Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, authorities, and other project stakeholders. Liaise with the procurement team for materials and ensure timely delivery. Attend project meetings and provide updates on infrastructure works.

Compliance & Quality Control:

Ensure adherence to local municipality regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality, ADM, RTA). Implement quality control measures and ensure rectification of non-conformities. Prepare and maintain inspection and testing records.

Health & Safety:

Ensure all infrastructure works follow safety regulations and project-specific HSE plans. Promote a culture of safety on-site among workers and subcontractors.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferably with a focus on infrastructure). Minimum 5 years of UAE/Gulf experience in infrastructure works. Solid knowledge of infrastructure systems such as stormwater, sewerage, potable water, and roadworks. Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office. Familiarity with local authority approval processes (DM, RTA, ADM, DDA, etc.). Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. UAE Driving License is a plus.
