About the Job
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Civil Engineer in a construction or contracting company.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and practices in Dubai is a plus.
- Participate in the development of project plans, including design, budget, and timeline.
- Oversee the design and technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and coordinate with project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Review and approve project designs, plans, and specifications, making adjustments as needed.
- Monitor project progress and ensure construction activities are executed efficiently and safely.
- Address technical challenges and provide solutions to keep projects on track.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the Planning Engineer to align project schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Ensure projects adhere to quality control and safety standards.
