Job Summary: Looking for a Civil Engineer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Job Key Details:
- Carry out engineering analysis studies and develop conceptual designs for the project
- Prepare integrated structural designs and carry out supporting calculations for the planned work
- Develop technical specifications for structural materials
- Oversee contracted staff
- Prepare technical procedures and contribute to the development of standards, specifications, construction documents as well as guidelines
- Supervise building work
- Organize sites and facilities
- Make sure projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
- Generate site reports and fill in other paperwork
- Coordinate with quantity surveyors concerning the ordering and negotiating the price of materials
- Offer technical advice and solve problems on site
- Review potential risks, materials and costs
- Examine technical designs and drawings to make sure they are followed correctly
- Offer advice and resolve creatively any emerging issues
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 2+ years of experience in the same field
- Should be able to recognize drawings, design, plan and implement the project
- Expertise in the use of Auto-CAD and SketchUp 3D or any other design application
- Demonstrated track record in delivering projects on time and within budget
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good leadership and project management abilities
