What you need to bring
Professional Bachelor
- Analyze photographs, drawings and maps to inform the direction of projects as well as the overall budget constraints;
- Ensure project feasibility through continual evaluation of structural integrity and design practicality;
- Create designs that utilize a variety of materials;
- Perform and adjust quantity calculations for practical and budgetary purposes;
- Communicate with team members as well as customers and vendors to ensure maximum cohesion and fluidity on projects;
- Forecast design and construction time frames;
- Inspect project sites to ensure they meet relevant codes and are progressing properly;
- Manage, design, develop, create and maintain projects;
- Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other);
- Carry out technical and feasibility studies;
- Draw up blueprints according to technical specifications;
- Assess potential risks, materials and labor costs;
- Provide advice and suggestions to resolve problems;
- Oversee and mentor staff;
- Liaise with a variety of stakeholders;
- Monitor progress of projects;
- Produce reports in project status;
- Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials;
- Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits.
What you need to bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering;- 8+ years’ civil engineering experience;
- SE license highly desirable;
- Extensive AutoCAD experience;
- Highly developed team management and leadership skills;
- Working knowledge of HydroCAD modeling;
- Proven working experience in civil engineering;
- Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar;
- License of professional engineer;
- Project management and supervision skills.
