Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

Prepares site plan and substation layout details for the substations (Indoor , Outdoor & Package
type)

Supervises the construction of the new substations and maintenance of the existing substations
and report to Project Coordinator / KAHRAMAA Civil Engineers.

Finds and propose a suitable solution for adding new equipment in the existing substations and
supervises.

Discusses and finds the suitable design for the substations to be built by consumers and
approves the building permit application

Supervises the construction of the substations to be built by consumers Supervises the maintenance of the substations to be done by consumers Review, inspect and approve contractor's material submittals. Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the supervisor Develops accurate reports (weekly, monthly, etc.) and submits them to Project Coordinator for
analysis of construction activities on pre-defined parameters

Verifying of BOQ (completed quantities) submitted by Contractors Material reconciliation on site (new and old/dismantled) - verify & report Works in cooperation with KAHRAMAA Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement department
on securing and maintaining the quality of works on site.

Carries out and ensures that all activities under his responsibility, within the Construction Section,
are in line with KAHRAMAA health and safety regulations.

Ensure and assist Contractors in provision of all documents necessary for commencement and
execution of the site works (building permits, demarcation, LOA provision, gate passes, etc...)

Monitoring CNTRACTOR'S Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports. Participate in Daily, Weekly and monthly progress meetings with the Contractors. Ensure optimal utilization of personnel and security of materials and equipment.
