Job Summary:
We are seeking a Civil Engineer with a valid Dubai Municipality (DM) license and expertise in building maintenance and interior fit-out works. The candidate will oversee maintenance and renovation projects, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and deliver high-quality civil and interior works across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Maintenance:
Oversee building maintenance, interior fit-out, and refurbishment projects.
Conduct site inspections, assess structural integrity, and recommend repairs.
Develop maintenance plans for civil infrastructure including flooring, walls, ceilings, and structural elements.
Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality (DM) regulations and safety standards.
Technical & Compliance:
Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
Ensure all maintenance and renovation activities adhere to UAE building codes and safety regulations.
Provide technical support for fit-out projects, structural modifications, and renovations.
Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure projects meet design specifications.
Cost Estimation & Procurement:
Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and procurement plans.
Source and coordinate with vendors for material selection and procurement.
Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with clients, facility managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
Provide engineering solutions for maintenance, renovations, and facility upgrades.
Coordinate with MEP teams for integrated project execution.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Valid Dubai Municipality (DM) license for civil engineering practice.
5+ years of experience in facility management, building maintenance, and interior fit-outs.
Strong knowledge of civil maintenance, renovations, and interior finishing.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other engineering tools.
Experience in structural assessment, repairs, and fit-out execution.
Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and safety standards.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
