Civil - Engineering

Knowledge of International - AISC, BS / EU Steel and RCC codes, foundation and Geotechnical codes.

Capability to produce technical calculations and drawings for:
Steel structures (equipment supporting, pipe racks, stacks, pipe supports etc.), Foundations (block, isolated / combined, piled foundations). Ground improvement works. Ability to read interpret and understand Topo, UG detection and Geotechnical survey reports. Equipment foundations - Packages, vertical vessels / columns, horizontal vessels. Dynamic foundations - pumps, compressors, coolers etc. UG concrete pits, concrete trenches. Buildings - steel shelters, RCC buildings - normal and blast resistant. Architectural - layout aspects, finishes, materials, views etc. Drainage - AOC, storm, sewage etc. General Civil works - grading, paving, soil conditioning works etc. Conversant with 3D model review procedures, 3D reviews tools. Conversant with HSE and ergonomic requirements, head room clearances and pathway clearances, safety issues in plant engineering. Conversant with local codal requirements, company specific requirements if any. Software knowledge - Staad.pro, mat and foundation 3D etc.

Soft skills

Good in spoken and written English. Conversant in MS Office tools, 3D review tools, pdf commenting tools. Approach / Attitude - to drive the project forward, problem solving approach.
