Job Summary
The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and managing construction and infrastructure projects in compliance with UAE laws, local authority regulations, and international engineering standards. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, design, and supervise civil engineering projects including roads, buildings, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure works
Prepare and review drawings, specifications, BOQs, method statements, and technical reports
Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and local authorities such as:
Dubai Municipality (DM)
Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT)
Trakhees, RTA, DEWA, ADDC, ADM (as applicable)
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and government authorities
Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress and quality
Ensure implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards as per UAE laws
Review and approve materials, shop drawings, and technical submittals
Manage project schedules, cost control, and risk mitigation
Prepare progress reports and attend technical and coordination meetings
Resolve site issues, technical discrepancies, and design conflicts
Ensure final handover documentation and as-built drawings are completed
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
