Civil Engineer

:

Vanguard Vantage General Contracting LLC is looking for a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a good background in civil contracting and construction, with at least

3-5 years

of relevant experience. A degree in Civil Engineering and certification equivalence are required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans for projects. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and quantity take-offs for civil works. Monitor project resources in line with the project objectives. Prepare progress reports and keep stakeholders informed on project milestones, delays, and corrective measures.

2. Design and Coordination:

Ensure civil designs comply with relevant codes, specifications, and standards. Review and produce, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for civil projects.

3. Site Supervision and Execution:

Oversee the execution of civil and structural works, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance. Manage on-site contractors and subcontractors, resolving issues related to work progress and construction methods.

Ensure compliance with local authorities' regulations including ADM and relevant construction guidelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in civil engineering within the UAE. Strong understanding of construction methods, site activates management. Proficient in project management software, AutoCAD, and estimation tools. Familiar with local authority regulations and approval processes in Abu Dhabi.
