Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team and take responsibility for the design, development, and maintenance of civil infrastructure projects across Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, local regulations, and the technical expertise required to execute projects successfully in the UAE or GCC.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC region Strong understanding of local regulations, construction practices, and international standards (ACI, BS, ASTM, etc.) Proficiency in civil engineering design and project management software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Primavera, etc.) Experience in designing and managing large-scale infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and drainage systems Knowledge of construction methods, project scheduling, and cost management Previous experience in MEP coordination and site supervision is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Design, plan, and oversee the construction of civil infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, drainage systems, and structural elements Ensure all designs comply with UAE regulations and international civil engineering standards Prepare technical specifications, detailed drawings, and reports for various projects Manage site activities, monitor construction progress, and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (MEP, structural) and contractors to ensure project success Conduct quality control, inspections, and maintain safety protocols on-site Assist in project planning, procurement, and technical reviews Supervise and mentor junior engineers and site teams to ensure the high standard of work

Certifications:

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus ADDC/TRANSCO approval or experience working with local authorities is an advantage
