Job Summary: Looking for a Civil Engineer in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Participate in project planning meetings and provide input on design considerations, feasibility as well as technical aspects
• Develop detailed engineering designs, specifications as well as drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Prepare cost estimates, project schedules as well as construction plans
• Collaborate with contractors, construction teams and suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of construction activities
• Undertake calculations, simulations and analysis to assess the structural integrity and performance of various civil engineering components
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, assess quality control and address any technical issues that arise
• Provide guidance and support to construction personnel, resolve conflict and make timely decisions to maintain project momentum
• Maintain accurate project documentation including design files, technical specifications as well as correspondence
• Undertake any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• The applicant must have related working experience as a civil engineer having UAE experience for a contracting company
• Proven experience in civil engineering design, construction and project management
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD as well as engineering analysis tools
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and presentation abilities
• Male candidates are required
