Key Responsibilities
Plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects (residential, commercial, or infrastructure).
Ensure all works comply with
Dubai Municipality
,
UAE codes
, and project specifications.
Review and approve structural, civil, and shop drawings.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and government authorities.
Conduct site inspections and supervise construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and timelines.
Prepare technical reports, method statements, and project documentation.
Monitor project progress, cost control, and material quality.
Ensure compliance with
health, safety, and environmental (HSE)
standards.
Liaise with Dubai Municipality and other relevant authorities for approvals, inspections, and permits.
Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions on-site.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in
Civil Engineering
from an accredited university.
Valid Society of Engineers (SOE) license - UAE (mandatory)
.
Dubai Municipality approval or eligibility
(preferred/mandatory as per role).
Minimum
X years of experience
in civil construction within the UAE.
Strong knowledge of
Dubai Municipality regulations
, local authority requirements, and UAE construction standards.
Proficiency in engineering software such as
AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Primavera, MS Project
, and MS Office.
Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Preferred Skills
Experience working on projects approved by Dubai Municipality.
Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction laws.
Site supervision and authority coordination experience.
Leadership and team management skills.
