Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Civil Draughtsman with a strong MEP background

to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing detailed drawings and plans for our design & build (interior) projects with integrated MEP systems, ensuring alignment with architectural and structural requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and revise

civil drawings

, including layouts, sections, elevations, and details for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Coordinate and integrate

MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)

components into civil drawings. Work closely with civil engineers, architects, and MEP consultants to develop coordinated shop drawings. Convert sketches, specifications, and calculations into technical drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software. Prepare

as-built drawings

and ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards. Ensure accurate layering, scaling, and dimensioning of all drawings. Assist in resolving drawing-related technical issues and discrepancies during design or construction. Maintain project drawing archives and documentation for future reference and approval processes.

Qualifications:

Degree / Diploma / ITI in Civil Draftsmanship or equivalent technical qualification. Minimum

3-5 years

of experience as a Civil Draughtsman, with hands-on exposure to

MEP coordination

. Proficient in

AutoCAD

and other drafting software (Revit, Navisworks, etc., is a plus). Understanding of

construction methods

,

building codes

, and

MEP systems

. Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering and architectural plans. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with

BIM

processes and 3D modeling is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
