Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Civil Draughtsman

who will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure the accurate and efficient delivery of high-rise construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings for high-rise building projects, including structural foundations, floors etc. Create 2D and 3D models of civil and structural elements using advanced CAD (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) software. Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and construction teams to translate conceptual designs into practical, construction-ready drawings. Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant building codes, local regulations, and industry standards for high-rise structures. Review and revise design plans as necessary based on client feedback, engineering requirements, or construction challenges. Produce site plans, layout drawings, and detailing for various phases of the project, including excavation, foundation work, and superstructure development. Assist in the preparation of bill of quantities and material take-offs based on design drawings. Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and ensure that construction is carried out according to the design specifications. Coordinate with project teams to ensure that any design changes or revisions are reflected in the drawings and communicated to the relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

Education:

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Draughtsman in the construction industry, with specific experience in high-rise building projects.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar). Experience in 3D modeling and BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and high-rise building design requirements.

Attention to Detail:

High level of accuracy and attention to detail when preparing technical drawings.

Communication:

Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
