Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and blueprints for civil and structural works as per project specifications. Convert engineering sketches and calculations into accurate technical drawings. Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and consistency. Update and revise drawings based on design changes, site instructions, and client/consultant feedback. Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and other construction documentation. Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and local authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, DDA, Emaar, Trakhees, etc.). Maintain and organize drawing records, revisions, and documentation throughout the project. Assist project teams with quantity take-offs and material detailing from drawings. Provide drafting support during design, tender, and construction stages.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering or Drafting. Proven work experience as a Civil Draughtsman in the construction industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and other drafting/design software. Good knowledge of civil/structural drawings, detailing, and drafting standards. Familiarity with local authority submission requirements and building codes. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
