Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation of Technical Drawings

Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for civil, structural, and architectural projects. Modify and update drawings based on engineers' and clients' requirements.

Compliance with UAE Regulations

Ensure all drawings comply with UAE municipality regulations and construction standards. Coordinate with local authorities for necessary approvals.

Coordination with Engineering Teams

Work closely with civil engineers, architects, and site teams to produce accurate designs. Review and interpret technical specifications and project plans.

Site Visits & Surveying

Conduct site visits to verify measurements and collect data for drafting purposes. Assist in preparing as-built drawings based on site conditions.

Material & Quantity Estimation

Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation from drawings. Provide technical input for project cost estimation and feasibility studies.

Project Documentation & Revisions

Maintain a well-organized database of drawings, revisions, and project documents. Implement changes as per site conditions or client feedback.

Collaboration & Communication

Coordinate with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) teams to ensure design compatibility. Communicate with contractors, suppliers, and clients for drawing approvals.

Utilization of Advanced Drafting Tools

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software. Utilize BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools if required.

Ensuring Quality & Accuracy

Conduct self-checks and ensure precision in all drawings to prevent design errors. Follow company standards and project specifications strictly.

Time Management & Deadline Adherence

Handle multiple projects efficiently and ensure timely submission of drawings.
