Job Title: Formwork, Scaffolding, and Structural Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Formwork, Scaffolding, and Structural Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and drafting formwork, scaffolding, and structural solutions for various construction projects. This role requires a blend of expertise in formwork and scaffolding design, as well as structural analysis to ensure the stability, safety, and compliance of all designs. The designer will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to provide innovative and safe design solutions that meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Drafting: Develop detailed technical designs and drawings for formwork, scaffolding systems, and structural elements using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit and staad pro).

Calculation and Analysis: Perform structural calculations and load analysis to ensure the integrity, safety, and stability of formwork, scaffolding, and related structural components.

Compliance: Ensure that all designs comply with relevant local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, structural engineers, and construction teams to understand project requirements and constraints, and provide solutions that meet technical and practical needs.

Pre-Construction Review: Conduct thorough pre-construction reviews to assess the feasibility and safety of designs, resolving potential issues before construction begins.

Documentation: Prepare, maintain, and update design documentation, including technical specifications, calculation sheets, and design revisions, ensuring clarity for the construction team.

Problem-Solving: Address design challenges or issues that arise during construction, providing innovative solutions to keep the project on track.

Continuous Improvement: Keep up to date with industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices to improve design processes, safety, and construction efficiency.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in designing formwork, scaffolding, and structural systems.

Skills:

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.

Solid understanding of structural analysis, load calculations, and formwork/scaffolding design principles.

Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and compliance regulations.

Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
