Job Title: Slab Formwork and Access Scaffolding Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Slab Formwork and Access Scaffolding Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, drawing, and calculating formwork and scaffolding solutions for various construction projects. The role involves creating detailed designs and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Drafting:

Develop detailed designs and technical drawings for slab formwork and access scaffolding systems using relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).

Calculation and Analysis:

Perform structural calculations to ensure the stability and safety of formwork and scaffolding systems.

Compliance:

Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Coordination:

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to understand project requirements and constraints.

Pre-Construction Review:

Conduct pre-construction checks to verify design feasibility and address any potential issues.

Documentation:

Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for design specifications, calculations, and revisions.

Problem-Solving:

Address any design issues that arise during construction and provide solutions as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to improve design processes and solutions.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing slab formwork and scaffolding.

Skills:

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar. Strong understanding of structural analysis and load calculations. Knowledge of safety standards and building codes. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
