Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the Foreman:
Supporting the foreman in overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring they align with safety regulations and company policies.
Coordination:
Helping schedule and coordinate the use of labor, materials, and equipment to keep projects on track.
Monitoring Progress:
Tracking project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
Quality Control:
Conducting site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and safety protocols.
Supervision:
Providing guidance and support to construction workers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Training:
Assisting in the onboarding and training of new employees, promoting company values and standards.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, incident reports, and inventory.
Safety Compliance:
Ensuring all workers adhere to safety regulations and company safety policies.
Problem Solving:
Helping to resolve any issues that arise on the construction site, involving workers, contractors, or safety concerns.
Communication:
Effectively communicating with the foreman, workers, and other relevant parties.
Material Management:
Assisting in the management and organization of materials and equipment on site.
Equipment Operation:
May be required to operate certain light or medium construction equipment.
