Lead and operate chocolate production lines: spreads, moulded chocolate, fillings, and layers.
Develop new formulas (flavor, texture, stability, and shelf-life) and scale them up to industrial production.
Implement and maintain quality standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000) and cooperate with QA for stability and sensory testing.
Optimize manufacturing processes, define raw material specifications (cocoa, cocoa butter, fats, sweeteners, emulsifiers).
Train and manage production operators/technicians and manage production schedules.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in chocolate/confectionery manufacturing; minimum 2+ years in industrial recipe R&D.
Practical knowledge of conching, tempering, enrobing, and emulsions for spreads.
Experience in cost optimization and scaling up formulations from lab to industrial scale.
Skills:
Team leadership, problem-solving in manufacturing, technical documentation, project supervision.
Preferred:
Previous experience with chocolate spread brands, industrial-scale product development, and knowledge of regional ingredients suppliers.
