1-Installation and maintenance: The chiller technician is responsible for installing and maintaining chiller systems, which involves setting up, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing components such as compressors, motors, pumps, valves, and refrigerant lines. 2-Diagnosis and problem-solving: When chiller systems are not functioning properly, the technician must use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify the root cause of the problem and develop an appropriate solution. 3-Compliance and safety: The chiller technician must ensure that all chiller systems are operating in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications. This involves testing for leaks, ensuring proper refrigerant levels, and performing routine maintenance to prevent equipment failures and safety hazards. 4-Documentation and reporting: The technician must keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on chiller systems, and report any unusual or dangerous conditions to management. 5-Customer service: Chiller technicians must provide excellent customer service to clients, including responding to inquiries, explaining technical issues in layman\'s terms, and making recommendations for system upgrades or replacements. 6-Training and development: Chiller technicians may be responsible for training and mentoring new hires, as well as staying up-to-date with the latest developments in chiller technology and best practices for maintenance and repair.
