Job Title Chiller Supervisor

Description

Our client is a large conglomerate with over 4 decades of strong presence in UAE and GCC. They are into manufacturing, technology, industries, health care, travel & tourism to contracting and real estate etc. and are looking to hire a Chiller Supervisor to be based in Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Effective Operation & Maintenance of Water-Cooled Centrifugal Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps and Associated Equipment.
• Maintain and repair chiller systems of Water-Cooled Chillers / Heat Exchange Rooms and other associate systems
• Take a leadership role in the development of junior technicians/Operator in chiller maintenance and repair.
• Ensure tasks are completed within the required response time based on priorities.
• Responsible for tracking and monitoring the work of service provider and keep the records of the reports.
• Communicate with managers in case of a major breakdown, Emergency tasks, abnormal readings, or issues in the water-cooled chillers.
• Responsible for managing Chiller Operator / Subcontractor at the site.
• Identify energy saving areas and effective implementation of energy saving program.
• Assign and follow up the periodic preventive maintenance schedule and reports on quarterly and annually for the in-house services.
• Monitors onsite construction projects and ensures user satisfaction, quality control, contract compliance, and adherence to safety regulations and codes.
• Ensure and implement Health & Safety for the assigned technician related to maintenance activities.
• Coordinate and assist the technician to improve their skills and performance.

Knowledge:

• Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of District Cooling Plants, RO Systems, Heat Exchanger Rooms.
• Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Various Types of Pumps
• Computerized maintenance management Systems

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Chiller operations related to commercial, residential and industrial projects
