Role Overview

We are looking for a caring and responsible

Child Health & Assistant Teacher

to support our nursery team. This role combines basic health assistance under the guidance of the Nursery Nurse with classroom support for teachers in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with routine health checks, hygiene practices, and basic first aid. Help track and record children's health and wellbeing. Maintain a clean and sanitized environment, including toys and activity areas. Support teachers during lessons, activities, mealtimes, and rest periods. Help manage classroom routines and engage with children in learning and play. Report health or safety concerns to the Nursery Nurse or Manager. Follow DHA and KHDA health & safety guidelines.

Requirements

DHA Assistant Nurse License or Eligibility Letter. 1-2 years of experience in a nursery, school, or pediatric setting. Understanding of child hygiene, safety, and early childhood practices. Strong communication skills and a warm, child-friendly approach. First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
