Job Title Child & Adolescent Clinical Psychologist

Our client, a well-established government hospital, is currently looking for a Child & Adolescent Clinical Psychologist to be based in Dubai. The main objective of this role is to reduce the distress and improve the psychological wellbeing of children, adolescents and their families who may have a variety of mental or physical health conditions through evidence-based practice. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities: . Competently Assesses patients and family's needs, abilities or behavior using a variety of methods, including psychometric tests, interviews and direct observation of their behavior . Devises, monitors, and adapts appropriate treatment programme, including therapy, counselling, or advice, in collaboration with colleagues. . Works as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside doctors, nurses, social workers, education professionals, health visitors, psychiatrists and occupational therapists. . Offers therapy and treatments for issues relating to a... range of mental health conditions . Develops and evaluates service provision for patients . Provides consultation to other professions, encouraging a psychological approach in their work . Carries out applied research, adding to the evidence base of practice in a variety of healthcare settings. Requirements . Bachelor Degree in Psychology and at least six years of post-graduate degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institute/college/university or a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, and PsyD (Doctor of Psychology) . A minimum of 2 years as Clinical Psychologist in a multidisciplinary clinical setting or hospital or a mental healthcare service provider or a minimum of 1 year as Clinical Psychologist in a multidisciplinary clinical setting or hospital or a mental healthcare service provider . A current license/registration to practice as Clinical Psychologist. .
