Chief Technical Officer (CTO) Fashion Retail, e-Com - Dubai
Your current role and experience currently should be at "CTO" or "Director of Engineering" or "Tech Manager" level. The ideal candidate should have similar experience in the retail/e-Commerce domain and be extremely passionate about driving technology, implementing solutions to better the business needs. You will need to be a "Commercial CTO" capable of driving the strategy and the design of the solutions and be hands on in leading the team in development, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities
CTO will lead the technical roadmap and strategy, providing leadership and direction
You will be expected to be at the forefront of disruption, change and growth in eCommerce.
Strategy
Develop the overall technical strategy for the company.
Maximize the returns and benefits of investments in technology and tools
Present company's technology strategy to management, investors, partners and stakeholders.
Architecture
Direct on application architecture and infrastructure design with bulletproof product delivery
Make decisions on technology selection "buy or build" as appropriate
Establish the technology architecture requirements to support the business growing needs
Experience / Qualification
Development and implementation of innovative technology systems, including web and mobile enabled applications is essential
Extensive Design and development of eCommerce software life cycles from concept, architecture design, development, QA to deployment - (Shopify) Bonus
Nodejs & Mongo for backend, GCP & Qlik for data
Experience with CRM systems that integrate Payment Gateways, (Stripe & Tabby) Shopping Carts, Merchant Accounts, Affiliate Tracking Systems, Email Campaigns, Video Emails, SMS Messaging, Autoresponders, Commission Calculation engines and 3rd party commission payment software
Experience with ERP, Software, Marketing technology, and / or Data Warehousing is a plus.
Location: Dubai, UAE
