Job Description

ROLE REQUIREMENT Provides systems engineering leadership and applies system engineering principles and procedures as systems lead and functional expert on all Systems Engineering aspects. Coordinates the efforts of professional engineers, scientists and technicians engaged in multiple facets of the program life cycle. Plans and executes highly complex engineering activities. Principal contributor to systems engineering activities which include the following: Concept of Operations Formulation, Requirements Definition, Analysis and Engineering, System Architecting, System analysis and design, Interface and Data Architectures, Validation and Verification, System Integration, System & Op. Performance Analysis, Lifecycle Cost Analysis & Estimation, Decision Analysis and Resolution. Capable of providing solutions to a variety of problems that may arise in a expeditious, efficient, and timely manner. Ensures the process as per ISO Standards, company policies, manuals, procedures and work instructions. JOBRESPONSIBILITIES

• Comprehensive understanding of systems development lifecycle and systems engineering role throughout lifecycle.
• Provides solutions to extremely complex problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
• Plans and conducts work using independent judgment in evaluating, selecting and adapting standard systems design engineering practices.
• Assisting supervisors and technical staff in all project specialties, client counterparts on project matters.
• Provides systems engineering guidance to technical staff and provides assistance and advice to personnel where technical and systems engineering problems exist or are developing.
• The incumbent reviews program acquisition documentation and conducts program assessments to identify weaknesses, identify corrective actions and prepares action plans for continuous improvement in designated areas.
• Exercises full responsibility for formulating and influencing system engineering/integration, product development, product assurance/test, and production for all programs

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, computer or aerospace engineering with 15+ 15 years overall system engineering experience is required.
• Advance knowledge of systems development lifecycle and systems engineering role throughout lifecycle.
• Knowledgeable in system engineering practices, program planning and budgeting cycles.
• Knowledge of International Standards and Models for Project Engineering, and Systems/Software Engineering.
• Working knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 15288 is required
