Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the stewarding department to ensure efficiency
Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, audits, and hygiene requirements
Monitor payroll costs through effective scheduling and productivity management
Inspect and verify incoming materials according to specifications and order records
Build, train, and maintain a motivated stewarding team
Record guest complaints, operational issues, and equipment concerns for escalation
Collaborate effectively with culinary and other departmental managers
Control departmental costs and support budget efficiency
Maintain exemplary cleanliness in all work areas and ensure adherence to hygiene standards
Be present throughout service periods to support smooth operation
Uphold personal grooming and hygiene standards
Follow all safety, emergency, and security procedures
Protect guest and property privacy, handling confidential data responsibly
Attend required meetings and participate in training programs
Ensure strict adherence to LQA standards
Ideal Profile
Vocational or technical certification in hospitality
Minimum 3 years of experience in stewarding or hygiene roles within luxury hotels
Strong understanding of food safety codes, HACCP practices, and hygiene compliance
Advanced MS Office proficiency
Knowledge of F&B and culinary terminology, equipment, and inventory control
Strong leadership and communication skills
Fluency in English
