Guide and conduct transportation planning and policy studies which aim to optimize the performance of Dubai transportation system and foster the integration between transportation planning and urban planning, facilitate the role of public transport. The policies shall relate to a wide array of transportation planning and implementation issues and shall contribute to reducing and/or redistributing travel demand in time, space, and between different modes.- Identify various global transportation planning trends, policies and business models and conduct studies that can contribute to advancing Dubai transportation system and prepare terms of reference and manage studies that need to be done by external consultants.
- Participate in developing and evaluating different multimodal transportation plans and scenarios considering economic and urban growth trends and forecasts, Dubai government directions and client’s strategies and goals.
- Conduct international benchmarking and studies related to different transportation planning and policy issues and develop and present solutions as needed
- Study and identify impacts of different transportation policies and travel demand management measures on Dubai transportation system and Conduct international benchmarking and studies in order to establish robust methodologies and tools which can be used to assess the impacts of different types of transportation scenarios and policies in Dubai context
- Conduct specialized studies and prepare technical reports/presentations on different issues related to the planning of transportation system in Dubai and transportation policies which can be implemented in Dubai to achieve a better management of the travel demand within the emirate and between it and the neighboring emirates.
- Identify and study newly evolving transportation technologies, policies and business models and raise technical reports on them and clear recommendations on their implementation in Dubai context.
- Prepare and present different types of technical reports and presentations to a variety of audiences as needed;
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as needed.

Master’s degree in Transportation planning from a recognized university. PhD is a plus.- Minimum 15 years relevant experience in transportation planning and policy related fields.
- Excellent knowledge of transportation planning, policy development and evaluation
- Excellent knowledge and practice in studying and modelling new transportation technologies and business models
- Data manipulation and proficiency in the use of suitable software;
- Fluent in Arabic and English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Computer Literate.
