Hiring for a Government client in Dubai. Job Purpose:
Identification and analysis of data patterns and trends, derive main indicators and recommendations which support client's strategic and operational decision making process and feed to the preparation/update of client's strategic plans, prepare statistical reports, and forecast the future based on trend analysis and other relevant factors.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise in developing and updating client's statistical system (what data to be collected, data classification, data structure, data storage and retrieval requirements and specifications, data analysis tools, .... etc.).
Analyze data and derive statistical indicators related to strategic and operational goals in client and gives recommendations that support client's strategic planning process and decision making.
Develop statistical analysis methodology and investigate the latest tools by identifying and adopting best practices that serves into the strategic goals and objectives of client.
Develop the methodology of validating statistical data using best practices to ensure the highest level of data accuracy and quality, which support strategic decisions at the level of client and the Emirate of Dubai.
Conduct global benchmarking study to compare client transportation statistics with other similar entities.
Ensure knowledge transfer and statistical analysis capability enhancement of other staff of statistics section.
Identify and analyze risks related to client's transportation statistics and provide mitigation measures and plans.
Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
Qualifications
Master's degree in statistical analysis & Business Management from a recognized university.
15 years of working experience in statistical analysis field.
Proficient with statistical software and applications.
Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of statistical related applications.
Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.
