KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES

# Responsible for providing Technical advisory to the RTA Crises Management Team during its operations in the
Enterprise Command and Control Center for declared RTA Crises
# Communicate the policy, manual and procedures to all RTA Agencies and Sectors
# Establishes Risk Management process to monitor and mitigate risks during the Crises response and recovery
process that could have impact on Human safety, reputation, service continuity and assets damage
# Support, CMT to effectively monitor and manage Crisis Response activities for RTA Emergencies and Crises
# Advises RTA Crisis Management Team on Crisis Management Plan conflicts, incongruities, etc
# Ensure that the Crisis Management Team reports are submit within the agreed timelines
# Ensure established systems, processes, procedures and execution of activities comply with As Low as
Reasonably Practicable (ALARP), ISO14001, ISO 22301 and ISO18001 or current best practice requires
# Performs advisory role and support all RTA Agencies and Sectors to implement the requirements of RTA
Crisis Management System and Business Continuity Management System as per ISO 11200, ISO 22301 and
NCEMA Standards
# Lead and manage investigations and Root causes analysis into the situations that led to RTA Crises and
Emergencies
# Responsible for providing Technical advisory on the implementation of legal and regulatory requirements,
implementation of International Standards and Industry best practices in RTA for Crisis Management and
Business Continuity
# Advise and provide subject matter expertise inputs to the RTA Crisis Management Team, RTA Agencies and
Sectors in conducting Crisis Response and Emergency Response Drills at RTA, Dubai and UAE level Crises
# Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
# Participate in responding to RTA Emergencies and Crises and facilitate RTA CMT Crisis Response for Dubai
and National Level disasters
# Prepare Strategic initiatives/projects for enhancing the function and improving performance of the RTA Crisis
Management and Business Continuity Function in line with RTA Strategic Goals and Objectives
# Advise and provide technical inputs to the Department Management in conducting and reviewing various
strategic initiatives that may affect the Strategic Goals of RTA and overall Business Continuity of RTA
# Prepare and update manuals, guidelines, training materials needed to illustrate the structure, features and use
of RTA Crisis and Business Continuity Management System
# Responsible for managing and implementing new projects and initiatives
# Maintain compliance and alignment against the Dubai Executive Council and National Emergency Crisis and
Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA)
# Responsible for mentoring and assisting junior staff on learning and developing technical skills in relation to
job roles and responsibilities
# Provide the core role of strategic direction for Crisis Management and Business Continuity Management for
RTA, which corresponds to the overall RTA vision, strategy and business needs as directed from RTA senior
management
# Ensure implementation and compliance to Dubai Government Excellence Program requirements for Crisis and
Business Continuity across all RTA Agencies and Sectors, which is one of the Seven Star capabilities of RTA
# Responsible for Professional and Technical Management and Execution of Crisis and Business Continuity
System of RTA including staff management
# Identify and prepare Crisis and Business Continuity Risk Register for all Major Events (Such as New Year's Eve,
EXPO 2020 and other such events in Dubai) and complete Emergency Response Planning and Testing for
RTA Agencies and Sectors
# Responsible for providing technical and administrative advisory on issues related to the process of Crisis and
Business Continuity Management System of RTA
# Manage review of all the Technological Integrations of complex Transport Systems, Interdependencies of
multimodal Transport Services, Interdependencies of RTA Departments, Agencies, Sectors and other Dubai
Government Entities to understand their failure consequence and recommend Crisis Management and
Business Continuity Strategies
# Manage implementation of Governance framework of Crisis Management and Business Continuity
Management System at RTA and ensures all the Agencies and Sectors are complaint through periodic audits
and assessments

Education
# Master degree in Systems Management or Business Management from a recognized University

# 10 years of experience in Crisis and Business Continuity Management, safety/environmental and risk
management in large engineering organization (public or private) or major infrastructure projects
# Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications
# Advanced knowledge of all the Transportation Systems, human factor and operational procedures
