Chief Project Planner/ Project Planning Manager

One of the fastest growing Construction Companies requires a Chief Project Planner/ Project Planning Manager with Civil Engineering background for its project office in Dubai, UAE.

Qualifications

Graduate in Civil Engineering

Minimum 15 years' relevant experience. Experience in Building Construction/ Infrastructure projects in the Gulf region, preferably in the UAE Substantial planning, delay analysis and schedule risk analysis. Experience in engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases. Fluency in the English language. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and schedule quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Reviews the project schedule updates done by the planner and liaise & coordinate with the different project teams in order to maintain proper progress recording and/or monitoring of the project schedule. In coordination/consultation with the Project Controls Manager, highlights to the Project's Management any deviation and/or delays from the approved plan. Participates in coordination with the project controls manager in the preparation of claims & extension of time using the appropriate delay analysis method. Liaises and assists the project controls manager in preparing weekly & monthly reports, budget preparation and maintains proper project planning records. Participates in periodic site meetings to elaborate the project's schedule and the progress status. In addition, to record any suggested changes and/or deviations from the plan and to advise of its effect on the overall schedule. Perform any other related duties as assigned. Knowledge of Procurement, Construction & Commissioning relevant activities will be an added advantage
