As we continue to expand our reach and deliver breathtaking experiences, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operations Officer to join our team.

The COO\xe2\x80\x99s task will be to run the day-to-day operations and improve the related processes delivering successful events to customers. The starting point is taking over the leadership of Flight Operations and Event Success Management teams, and while we grow we will add more responsibilities to this important role.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the organization, ensuring efficient and effective execution of business strategies.
• Drive operational excellence towards exceeding customer expectations and manage high-profile client events.
• Streamline business processes, and implement best practices across all departments to bring the highest value to our customers.
• Collaborate with the CEO and other managers to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company\xe2\x80\x99s vision and objectives.
• Lead and manage significant organizational change initiatives
• Ensure business plan targets are met while identifying opportunities for financial and operational improvements.
• Participate in financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
• Engage with key clients to strengthen relationships and identify new operational improvement opportunities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and (technological) advancements.
• Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the operational teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, high performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in the international events industry
• Have experience with transitioning from a start up to a scale up company
• Proven track record in a senior operational role, preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
• Excellent leadership, collaboration and team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and innovation.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree or MBA preferred.
