Main responsibilities
Handling corporate actions and overseeing the design, enhancement, implementation, reporting, and oversight of the firm's financials, operations, human resources and risk/compliance functions.
Handling borrow requests, running NAV reports, paying bills, corporate events, cash events etc.
Building out and recruiting a cohesive operations team as the business scales up across the Middle East.
Understanding and onboarding prime brokers, institutional clients, custodians both internationally and in the region.
Working with other internal functions and third parties regarding technology, infosec and regulatory matters/changes.
The COO who can handle all back-office functions for their newly opened Dubai office.
Requirements
At least 10 years in a senior operational role within a hedge fund, investment or asset manager.
Strong academic background.
Experience working within a systematic operation, ideally within an equity high frequency environment.
Detailed knowledge and experience handling back office of an equity trading operation (preferably US or European).
Able to manage cross functional, cross border teams.
Candidates must be open to relocating to Dubai from 2023.
