We are hiring a visionary COO for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the business and to ensure an excellent customer experience at Dubai Herbal & Treatment Centre based in UAE.
Dubai Herbal and Treatment Centre (DHTC) was established in 2003 to offer holistic solutions for wellbeing combining conventional (allopathic) and CAM (Complementary and Alternative) treatments. This bespoke approach is at the core of our philosophy as we tailor health journeys for our clients drawing from three complementary areas Get & Stay Well, Feel Well Retreat and Eat Well. The Chief Operating Officer will report to the Director General. As this is a new role, the successful incumbent will be a UAE experienced senior level candidate who can lead long-term strategic planning and oversee its implementation to ensure the achievement of financial and operational growth and advance entity operations through innovative concepts and practices. Responsibilities:
- Engage in strategic thinking and planning to position entity operations for success, including monitoring and analyzing factors and trends in the industry that may impact the entity; Identify and implement needed adaptations in operations strategy.
- Provide guidance and recommendations for investments necessary to fulfill ongoing stewardship of the entity and its infrastructure by developing and implementing efficient and cost-effective policies and procedures.
- Implement and manage initiatives to support organic growth across the entity, including marketing, scheduling optimization, customer growth and retention and identification of new services in addition to upselling existing ones.
- Set and manage budgets in addition to overseeing revenue growth, pricing, and overall cost management.
- Promote a culture of excellence and innovation in patient care while maintaining overall profitability.
- Oversee and monitor the delivery of high-standard patient care and set standards to achieve operational excellence.
- Oversee non-clinical operations, such as, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Procurement, and Facilities and Administrative to ensure high quality support services are being provided for achieving the overall mission.
- Ensure an active safety culture across the entity, motivate employees, customers and contractors/ vendors through active safety leadership.
- Review and approve all decision related to purchase or maintenance of clinical equipment and maintain the infrastructure of the entity through prudent investments.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including customers and key decision makers and gain their trust and confidence whilst acting on cumulative interest.
- Act as a catalyst for change by diagnosing problems and developing and promoting new ideas and improvements that positively impact the organization.
- Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or related fields
- Minimum 14 years of experience with at least 8 years of healthcare experience in a senior management role.
- UAE Nationals are preferred.
- A track record of working exceptionally well with clinical and non-clinical team, partnering with them in operations and program planning.
- An effective systems thinker who understands the value of effective systems, policies and procedures with patient satisfaction as a driver.
- Requires excellent oral and written communication English and Arabic skills, strong organizational, negotiation, collaboration and time management skills.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
- UAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirements.
