About the Company:

We are a leading energy and oil & gas company in the Gulf region, known for operational excellence, innovation, and driving sustainability in the energy sector. With a strong presence across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations, we are seeking a visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and optimize our global operations.

Role Summary:

As the COO, you will oversee the entire operational strategy and execution across multiple business units in upstream and downstream oil & gas operations. You will drive operational efficiency, safety compliance, strategic growth, and cross-functional coordination to position the company as a global leader in energy production and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all operational aspects of oilfield development, production, refining, logistics, and distribution.

Drive operational excellence, cost-efficiency, and sustainable practices across all divisions.

Collaborate with the CEO and board to shape corporate strategy, investment priorities, and expansion initiatives.

Oversee capital projects and major infrastructure developments in alignment with national and regional goals.

Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, international partners, and stakeholders.

Ensure full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards and government regulations.

Lead operational risk management and crisis response initiatives.

Implement cutting-edge technologies and digital transformation for competitive advantage.

Candidate Requirements:

Nationality: Arab Nationals preferred for localization initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Energy Management, or related fields.

MBA or relevant Master's degree is highly desirable.

15+ years of senior-level experience in oil & gas, energy, or petrochemicals, including 5+ years in an executive leadership role (e.g. COO, VP Operations, Regional Director).

Deep expertise in *upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.

Track record of leading large teams and multi-site operations across the Gulf or internationally.

Strong understanding of HSE, ESG, and sustainability in the energy sector.

Proven success in driving operational transformation, P&L accountability, and business growth.
