About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

to oversee the operational leadership of a hospital facility located in

Nauru

. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality healthcare services in a small island nation, working closely with medical, administrative, and governmental stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and daily oversight of hospital operations. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. Oversee resource management, including personnel, facilities, and supplies. Ensure compliance with local healthcare regulations, international best practices, and hospital protocols. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and operational excellence. Work collaboratively with the Ministry of Health and other local authorities.

Qualifications and Experience

Proven senior management experience in hospital or healthcare administration (COO, Hospital Director, or similar). Minimum of 6 years' experience in healthcare leadership roles. Strong background in operational planning, quality assurance, and human resource management. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; cross-cultural experience is an advantage. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred). Experience working in remote or resource-limited settings is highly desirable.
