Chief Growth Officer Job Details Department Growth Reporting Manager CEO Job Location HQ, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates/Jordan Job Purpose Responsible to lead the business development and sales and marketing strategies of the company. Develops and implements the required operational planning in collaboration with senior leadership to enable customized education delivery for a diverse portfolio of government, large and small institutions worldwide. Key Responsibilities Strategic Growth Initiatives - Develops and manages the organizational business development and sales strategies that employ direct, channel and partnership approaches to significantly expand the spread of business in K12 markets year over year
Establish standardized processes, resource plans and communication channels that enable rapid activation of complex growth initiatives
Implements and maintains CRM processes and reporting to drive effective sales management reporting and decision making
Initiates and builds effective relationships with prospective customers worldwide that reliably convert to revenue generating opportunities
Responsible for the development of proposals to respond to RFPs, RFI and tenders
Strategic Partnerships - Responsible for strategic commercial partnership deal generation to create commercially viable comprehensive education services
Eliminates organizational silos to create a unified, long term partnership strategy balancing long and short term priorities across service offerings
Establishes and cultivates new client and partner collaboration opportunities in K12 education arenas
Continuously utilizes knowledge of current education-related policies to influence partnership and sales opportunities
Responsible for establishing and maintaining partnership work, monitoring effectiveness of work and intended business outcomes
Market Analysis and Planning - Evaluates market trends to identify, qualify and develop strategic growth plans to achieve growth goals.
Leads the team’s ongoing market analysis and research to continuously identify new opportunities to achieve long and short term growth objectives
Analyzes and adjusts organizational priorities and activities to mitigate time and resource waste, continuously prioritizing viable growth initiatives
Lead competitor analysis including gaining understanding of their market position, products and services and strengths and weaknesses
Develops rich business case studies that translate into actionable plans and rapid closure of new business deals
Sales & Marketing - Establishes marketing vision and lead generation strategies centered on value propositions to enable sales teams to qualify and close new business relationships
Responsible for value proposition continuity across sales, marketing, product, and service delivery operations
Leads the vision for marketing strategies that collect data on prospective customers and their engagement with business value propositions
Aligns marketing and sales initiatives to develop sustainable stream of qualified leads
Leads the vision for sales strategies and processes that enable efficient close of new business deals and sustainable revenue streams
Relays customer insights to the product division to inform and influence feature development
Organizational Leadership - Build and promote teamwork and shared resource utilization across the organization to enable execution of strategy.
Lead globally diversified cross-functional growth minded teams to achieve KPI and organizational objectives
Build effective relationships across the organization, inviting and facilitating problem solving and idea generation to help empower win/win solutions
Train, coach and develop team culture, ensuring clear expectations are communicated and discussed in an open, collaborative manner
Set, monitor and share performance data and dashboards
Education, Experience and Required Skills Education
MBA stronger preferred
Experience
Minimum 15 years experience leading growth strategy and development in technology industries
Minimum 10 years value sales experience especially in areas of digital transformation solutions and services
Minimum 5 years experience selling complex and effective solutions and services to large enterprise and/or government accounts
Proven experience articulating and implementing business development and sales strategies from scratch
Expertise engaging senior executives in strategic planning
Previous experience negotiating and closing contracts and coordinating complex business development deals
Record of sustained ability to meet or beat sales quota targets
Exceptional English communication required (reading, writing, verbal, presentation)
Ability to learn new technology and translate it into value propositions that meet customer needs and solve customer problems
Arabic communication a strong advantage (reading, writing, verbal)
