to lead and oversee the financial operations of our organization. This role is critical in shaping and executing the company's financial strategy across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring robust financial risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, preferably with exposure to trading, investment management, or digital assets, and a proven track record in leading finance functions within regulated entities.
Reporting directly to the CEO and Board, the CFO will play a key role in advising on capital structure, managing relationships with financial institutions and regulators, and driving financial performance across all business units.
Key areas of responsibility:
Advise the CEO and Board on financial strategy, capital structure, and financial
risk management in a multi-jurisdictional regulatory environment
Lead financial strategy, budgeting, planning, reporting, analysis, and auditing
across entities
Identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities for the company
Create and sustain strong partnerships with banks,advisors, regulators, and
strategic partners to ensure the company is optimally positioned to meet its
requirements financially
Providing timely and accurate management information
Implementing and improving the accounting and financial management systems,
policies, and procedures
Manage inter-company transactions, transfer pricing, and consolidation across
the group.
Lead the regulatory reporting and financial statements
Implement and oversee the maintenance of standards in relation to statutory
requirements on financial reporting and disclosure
Develop the corporate governance & accounting disciplines
Develop funding solutions
Ensure the company audit process is effectively executed
Direct and manage the annual budgeting process for the organization
Technical competencies and skills:
Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Management, Banking or Finance, as well as
certifications in compliance
Excellent understanding of regional and international regulations, ideally
specifically related to virtual assets
Have had strong responsibilities of balance sheet & treasury risk management
Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA), ideally with Big Four
experience.
Strong grasp of inter-company accounting, consolidation, and transfer pricing.
Have excellent attention to detail
Have strong stakeholder management skills
Discrete and has sense for integrity and handling of highly sensitive information.
Experience managing multi-entity structures and cross-border operations

Ability to work during production environment maintenance hours outside of
normal business hours.

Years of experience:
Have at least 10 years' experience in financial services, ideally with exposure to
one or more of trading, investment management, and crypto.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as Head of Finance or CFO in a regulated entity,
preferably in the UAE.
