One of a leading Retailer group in Dubai is looking for Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Leadership & Stability: Direct and oversee all aspects of the organization's finance and accounting functions. Ensure the company's financial stability through strategic forecasting, risk management, and timely reporting.

Capital Management
: Develop and execute capital raising and management strategies. Oversee relationships with financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders.
3. Taxation and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to taxes and financial reporting in the GCC countries. Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and implications for the business.
4. Operational Efficiency: Lead resource planning and operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity. Integrate financial management with operational activities to ensure the smooth running of the company.
5. Strategic Direction and Growth: Provide strategic financial input and leadership on the organization's decision-making issues. Create financial models and projections to support business planning and investment decisions.
6. Team Management: Manage and mentor a finance team of 10-15 people, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
7. Accounting and Auditing: Ensure that accounting policies and procedures meet the highest standards and regulatory requirements. Oversee the preparation and audit of financial statements.
8. Value Chain Optimization: Design and implement strategies to create a robust value chain that enhances profitability and market competitiveness.
9. Digital Business and Cryptocurrency: Adapt financial strategies to support digital business initiatives and leverage cryptocurrency opportunities.
10. Lease and Contract Negotiation: Negotiate lease agreements and manage relationships with malls and landowners. Oversee the drafting and review of legal and financial contracts to ensure favorable terms.
11. Strategic about ESG: approach ESG as a growth play and transform the company.
Key Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant, Master's degree in finance, or equivalent financial qualifications.
- At least 8 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably with experience in the GCC countries.
- Proven track record in capital raising, financial planning, and management.
- Comprehensive understanding of GCC tax laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Understanding the nuances of a trading business.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED30,000.00 - AED40,000.00 per month
