  • Manage client\xe2\x80\x99s OPMS system implementation correctly, and ensure lessons learned, progress reports/risks and change requests are managed in a timely manner. Support corporate performance on updating client\xe2\x80\x99s agencies/Sectors plans as per the approved policy.
  • Advise in the development of the annual budget, evaluate and recommend specific adjustments during the implementation to satisfy project needs.
  • Participate in client\xe2\x80\x99s Projects Portfolio Management, and identify Yearly recommended projects based on the priority criteria set every year.
  • Participate in Updating the Strategic Planning initiatives related to the client\xe2\x80\x99s goals & objectives.
  • Benchmark the performance of Strategic Planning, against other entities and as per the plan every year.
  • Audit ongoing projects in terms of their objectives and alignment with client laid down guidelines, ensure implementation of client EMPO policies, Project management Policies, Asset Management, Risk management & recommend improvement & development areas.
  • Direct and analyze client strategic projects performance reports and statistical data to identify causes of related risks & develop recommendation & solutions for improvement.
  • Analyze & monitor the performance of Strategic Planning, design projects and studies and advice the director accordingly & ensure mitigations implemented.
  • Ensure OPMS operational processes are updated, adhered to, and recommend yearly or as required changes.
  • Continuously review and update projects\xe2\x80\x99 objectives to ensure conformity with client\xe2\x80\x99s strategic plan and objectives.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of the running programs/projects, committees/teams and highlight the project risks to management.
  • Ensure that key performance indicators are developed for the department to enable effective monitoring of the organization performance.
  • Evaluate the consultants & contractors in terms of their capabilities & issue the performance reports on behalf of the department.
  • Develop new initiatives to ensure client\xe2\x80\x99s sustainability and continual development of its operations.
  • Prepare Reports and Presentations for the director as required and in coordination with section managers
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities associated with the position.
  • Prepare and manage the flow of meetings/workshops as well as other review meetings with DG office and CEO office are prepared with all presentations/reports raised on time.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering: Civil / Architecture from a recognized university. PMP training is recommended.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in project management and Project management Offices experience.
  • Knowledge of similar to clients programs, Maximo, OPMS, ADDA, ERM, Budget and other organizational tools.
  • Well-developed administrative skills and knowledge of quality, environmental and Health and Safety Management Systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, 18001
  • Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes
  • Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications
  • Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
  • Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.
